Introducing The New Effects Master VHO: The World’s Most POWERFUL Fluorescent Black Light Fixture

Introducing the Effects Master VHO Series: The World’s Most Powerful Fluorescent Black Light.

We’ve affectionately nicknamed it “The Powerhouse.”

It produces such a flood of UV output, you could light up an entire warehouse. Which is exactly what it was designed for.

Laser tag arenas, mini-golf courses, nightclubs, or any large entertainment venues needing to flood a large area with as much UV as possible at a low cost will appreciate the new Effects Master VHO.

This beast features FOUR 4 ft. lamps, and accepts any standard 40W T-8, T-10, or T-12 size. (Or better yet, use SableLux lamps for the highest UV output).

The electronic VHO (Very High Output) ballast, among other features, is what’s responsible for such awesome output. It overdrives each lamp to 80W, giving you 320 Watts of raw black light power.

Just imagine what you could illuminate with this bad boy!vho3

In addition to the features that come standard with the Effects Master Series (see below),  the VHO also features a power switch and Neutrik PowerCON AC Input and Output jacks, allowing you to daisy-chain up to three fixtures on a standard 20A circuit. That should save you a few wiring headaches.

As an Effects Master fixture, it includes all of the standard features of our entire Effects Master line, including…vho5

    • A heavy-gage pressed steel housing, which offers superior strength and durability.
    • An Everbrite aluminum reflector, which reflects 98% of UV-A light and produces a 165˚ beam angle.
    • An electronic ballast that ensures quiet, flicker-free operation and instant on/off (unlike cheap magnetic ballasts).vho4
    • Adjustable mounting brackets drilled for multiple mounting options such as C-clamps, All Thread Rod, Unistrut… or a simple screw into the wall.

In short, this fixture is a rugged, professional-grade fixture with boatloads of UV output—just what you’d expect from Wildfire.

And its attractive price—it retails for just $379—offers the most UV output per dollar that you can possibly invest in.

It’s a no-brainer, really.

The new Effects Master VHO is now shipping. Order today to be among the first to receive “The Powerhouse!”

We have 12 foot ceilings looking to light up an area of 15′ by 210′. How many fixtures do you recommend. This is a bowling center settee area. Thank you.

Hi Jon,

For bowling center lighting we normally recommend our Effects Master 3 lamp Energy Series. The lighting formula we use is 3 fixtures spaced evenly down each lane pair. This should provide a sufficient amount of black light to light the lanes from the ball returns to the masking panels. One of the advantages of our Energy Series is you can run up to 15 fixtures on a standard 20A circuit and still only total a 75% load on the circuit.

If you have additional questions on bowling center black lighting give our sales staff a call at (800) 937-8065

Are your black lights short wave or long wave or do you have both?

Thanks Zane

Hi Zane,

All of the black lights we manufacture are long wave UV-A. The professional lines which includes our Long Throw, Effects Master and VioStorm series all produce 365nm UV. The consumer lines which includes our BlueBar, and Spectra Master Series produce 390-400nm UV.
